About the Class:
This intermediate photography six-week class for digital photographers will teach you more advanced visual and technical skills with your camera. The class will begin with a review of basics such as white balance, resolution, ISO, and exposure modes. Students in this class should be comfortable with the topics covered in the Digital 101 class.
New topics will include:
- advanced composition and lens choices
- low-light and night photography
- using your flash
- shooting "raw"
- histograms
- basic image workflow, raw conversion, and basic image editing using Photoshop
- Color Zone System
- shooting and managing black and white
- lots of critique!
Interesting assignments, one very cool field trip, and three full critiques of your work complete this experience. Bring your fully adjustable digital SLR*, manual and "jump drive"** to the first class.
Please note that this class will meet five times in the classroom and one time on location for the field trip.
The field trip for all Digital 102 classes will be on Saturday, October 16th from 10am - noon. No class time that week.

This class is offered at several different times. Choose the day and time that suits you. The class meets at the designated times once a week for five weeks plus a field trip. Class fee covers entire six weeks.
